MyHospitals
The sixth annual FutureGov Awards were presented on 19 October 2012 on the final day of the FutureGov Summit in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The MyHospitals website built by Cordelta through the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare won the Connected Government Award and was a finalist for the E-Government Award.

"The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) has won a prestigious FutureGov 2012 award recognising excellence in government ICT achievements in the Asia-Pacific region." Said Alison Verhoeven, Senior Executive for the Governance and Communications Group for AIHW. "The award acknowledged the development of the MyHospitals website, on which the AIHW has worked with Cordelta since early 2010."

"AIHW Director and CEO, David Kalisch, acknowledged the support of key external business and technical consultants including Cordelta, in working with the AIHW to deliver a website that not only reports accurate information about hospitals, but is easy to use and understand from the community's point of view. The website also reports technical data that can be used by professional and clinical groups, and peak bodies such as health consumer organisations."

"The National Health Performance Authority assumed responsibility for MyHospitals in July this year as part of national health reform measures, and will release its first hospitals report on the site later this year. The AIHW continues to work with Cordelta to develop the site under contract to the NHPA."

MyHospitals was also a joint winner of the iAward in the eGovernment category for the ACT for 2011.

MyHospitals
As part of COAG initiatives the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) was tasked by the Department of Health to build a website that would display hospital performance statistics and
information.

The MyHospitals website aims to provide a consistent set of information about all public hospitals (and a number of private hospitals) across Australia.

In addition to providing general profile information on each included hospital, MyHospitals will present information on how each public hospital performed compared to national average waiting times for elective surgery and emergency department care, list the medical services provided and present information on admission rates.

This challenging website project has a number of key requirements:
● To build, test and implement a high performance website that will allow the public to search and view hospital performance data.
 ● Site performance or availability to not diminish with a use load of 2.1 million hits in the first 24 hours with a peak of a minimum of 500,000 hits per hour.
 ● website performance to remain high even under load
 ● Guaranteed application availability of 100%
 ● WCAG 2.0 Compliant to be tested and accepted by Vision Australia
 ● No security vulnerabilities

In July 2011, Cordelta was named by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) as a joint winner of the iAward for the MyHospitals website in the eGovernment category in the ACT, along with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and project managers Cogent Business Solutions Pty Ltd.
