LIfeline Out of the Shadows
Lifeline, one of the most iconic and trusted brands in Australia, has recently appointed Cordelta to be their technology partner for their entire online presence. Since appointment in late May, Cordelta has redeveloped the Out of the Shadows website for awareness and fundraising surrounding World Suicide Prevention Day - Monday 10 September 2012. The site supports a centralised platform for campaign information, allows people to organise and register for awareness walks around the country, and provides a place for event management, help and promotional material.

Cordelta has also developed an employee information portal helping staff engage with Lifeline's senior management.

“Cordelta is part of the community," said Krishan Jogia, Cordelta's project manager for Lifeline. "By helping essential community services like Lifeline improve their business, our work benefits everyone.”

"Cordelta is very pleased to be able to provide Lifeline with access to our complete portfolio of service and development capabilities, and look forward to helping them drive their important message out to the wider Australian audience."

Canberra consulting firm Cordelta recently strengthened its commitment to provide quality, professional project management services. The Canberra company has become a member of Australia’s peak project management
body, the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). This is a strategic step for the rapidly growing firm in building its internal project management practice and in providing contemporary, accredited project management professionals to its clients.

Cordelta project management practice lead Boyd McCarron said membership to AIPM was yet another step in the right direction. “AIPM membership allows us to incorporate industry standards through AIPM’s competency standards and certification framework,” he said. “Professional certification is a defining element of quality in our practice and our service  offering. Over time Cordelta will embrace a wider range of the competency standards to further mature project management capability. Ultimately all Cordelta practicing project managers will be professionally certified.”

AIPM has a long and respectable history in the Australian project management industry and has been instrumental in developing the profession nationally and overseas. Boyd believes Cordelta’s clients value the professional accreditation because it represents reduced risk of project failure and provides assurance of working with competent professional practitioners.

Since establishing in 2004, Cordelta has continued to grow its project management capabilities at project, program and portfolio level. The company has extensive experience in private and public organisations across a variety of sectors and project types including, ICT, product development, business change and transition management. Cordelta’s project management practice aligns with industry standards and market trends. Beyond AIPM certification Cordelta considers certification in contemporary methodologies as being equally relevant to its practice standard. Many staff are already certified in methodologies such as PRINCE2, Project, Program and Portfolio Offices (P3O) and Managing Successful Programs  (MSP).

Over the past two years Cordelta has successfully undertaken more than 150 projects, which demonstrates a growing confidence in delivery capabilities and value proposition. Cordelta’s services span a range of sectors including, health, defence, finance, real estate and telecommunications.
