Cordelta were pleased to be invited by TIBCO to present with Dion Hinchcliffe (author of Social Business by Design) in a Tibbr event: Enterprise Social Networking that coincided with Intranets2012 conference held in Sydney on 16 May 2012.

Our CIO and Director, Matthew Ryan, presented on our use of Tibbr for enterprise conversation behind the firewall.

As a proudly Australian owned and operated consulting firm, Cordelta are experienced users of Atlassian's enterprise wiki platform Confluence, which supports much of our internal collaboration, intranets and external collaboration needs, as part of a broader collaboration platform.

However, a need was identified to be able to better sustain and foster internal conversations along defined subject streams to help move traffic off email and allow for visible, persisted conversations that our staff could participate in. As a TIBCO partner, Cordelta have been trialling the use of Tibbr, a corporate social networking tool, to address this aspect of our business.

Tibbr has been running internally as a pilot, which allowed for fine tuning of the approach and subject directories. It now supports a wide range of internal conversations occurring along defined topics, with use made of TIBCO's plug-in connector to Confluence. This allows for visible conversations to be integrated alongside business critical content.

Matthew's presentation to the group is now available at http://www.slideshare.net/cordelta/cordelta-tibcopresentationsocial-collaborationintranets2012.

Cordelta are continuously integrating the learnings of this into our Workplace Collaboration service and product development road maps of both Tibbr and Confluence.
