Businessman holding a handwritten signAfter the success of our last two years’ trivia nights for the Doris Womens’ Refuge and Beryl Women Inc, Cordelta is once again hosting a Trivia Night to benefit OzHarvest‘s Canberra chapter.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday 27th August commencing at 7:00pm and concluding at 11:00pm. Tables will be of eight (8) people. The chosen venue is the Majura Community Hall, 2 Rosevear Place Dickson.

In order to keep costs to a minimum Cordelta asks you and your guests to BYO your drinks and snacks for the evening. Tea and coffee will be provided.

There is a limited number of tables, so pre-purchasing tickets is essential to secure your place for a fun-filled and stimulating evening of trivia, games and table rivalry. Individual tickets are being offered at the low price of only $25 per head or $200 per table.

This event is open to all Cordelta staff, their family, friends, clients and the public. So now is the time to get your tables of eight together and purchase your tickets. Contact admin@cordelta.com for details and to purchase tickets.

Wanted: Sponsors and Donors

Raffle hampers have been well received and are a good way for all to contribute to the event.

Over the next few weeks Cordelta’s charity event committee would be extremely grateful to receive donations to contribute towards hampers which will be raffled on the night.

Donated Items should not be perishable (unless they are donated within a couple of days of the event on 27 August) and could include:

  • gift cards and certificates
  • bottles of wine or liqueurs
  • gourmet crackers and flat breads
  • cheese/pate boards and knives
  • wine glasses
  • gourmet vinegars
  • nougat/chocolate
  • etc.

This year, the event will be hosted by a professional trivia master. One of our committee members has very generously contributed half the cost of this and Cordelta would be extremely appreciative of further donations towards this cost.

Cordelta is really looking forward to a very successful event so we can donate as much as we possibly can to OzHarvest.

All donations can be dropped off at the Cordelta office at Level 1, 72 Dundas Court, Phillip.
