Knowledge manager – six month maternity leave contract

We are seeking a knowledge manager to join Cordelta on a six-month maternity leave contract starting in late May/early June 2018.

This role is responsible for documenting company capabilities, helping to win business opportunities, supporting the delivery of client services and overseeing internal and external communications.

Working for the managing director as part of the admin team, a typical day in this role involves:

  • Preparing content for the company website, social media and intranet
  • Developing and organising capability statements, document templates and processes
  • Ensuring corporate information is complete, current and stored in the correct location
  • Extracting reusable content from submitted proposals
  • Maintaining standard clauses for tender responses
  • Compiling Cordelta’s monthly corporate newsletter
  • Helping to onboard new employees
  • Basic Office 365 administration tasks such as assigning licences, resetting passwords and adding/removing users from groups
  • Preparing, formatting and maintaining Cordelta’s CV library
  • Preparing the basic structure for proposals and tender responses
  • Reviewing proposals to ensure correct spelling, grammar and presentation
  • Maintaining and retrieving knowledge from company systems
  • Providing backup support to the panel coordinator

Skills and experience

This role is well suited to a professional with a background in journalism, communications or information management. A degree in one of these fields is desirable but not essential.

You will have excellent writing, research and interpersonal skills, a genuine desire to help others and a proven ability to work independently.  You will have strong digital literacy and computer skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365 and WordPress.

In addition, you will have fastidious attention to detail, highly developed organisational skills and a commitment to delivering quality work on time. The keys to your success in this role will be your can-do attitude, persuasive communication skills and ability to solve problems in a friendly and timely manner.
